These two are like family - this will be their fifth appearance at MCC

In July, 2015, we were fortunate enough to host Nora Jane & Joe for our very first house concert, where two big events happened. We all wound up in our front yard learning the Tennessee Two-Step, and we toasted Nora Jane & Joe's freshly announced engagement.

Over the next several years, we got to celebrate with them the purchase of their first home, the birth of their first child Annabelle (not during the show, thankfully), and the release of the first record Nora Jane made with her dad, Alan, as the Red Dirt Sweethearts.

We haven't seen them since right before the pandemic shut the world down, and we're so happy to welcome them back to MCC.

Nora Jane has released eight records, her latest being Bright Lights, Long Drives, First Words (around 2019). In addition to appearing on all of Nora Jane's records, Joe released his own record a few years back called Clear Blue Skies. They play a wide range of original music plus a bit of old (OLD!!!) traditional country and bluegrass tunes.
