Born and raised in Memphis, we were first exposed to Jimmy Davis' music at the Saxon Pub in Austin, where he was a long-time member of Walt Wilkins' band, The Mystiqueros. We became fans of Jimmy's original music through the Mystiqueros, and were scheduled to host a show for him in August, 2020 ... that obviously didn't happen, but we did get to host Jimmy for a Zoom live stream show last year.

Jimmy has been writing and performing his own music for 40+ years now - solo and with a number of band projects. He's a great musician, and is equally at home with quiet ballads, Memphis-infused blues, or foot stompin' bluegrass or country rock tunes. Jimmy's songs have been recorded by Martina McBride, Restless Heart, Tommy Alverson, Reba Russell, Walt Wilkins, as well as a myriad of other recording artists.

We're pretty excited to finally be hosting a show for Jimmy, after a two-year delay. Won't you join us?
