Tiffany Williams is a native of Eastern Kentucky. Now living in Nashville, she is a coal miner's daughter, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter, and her music is often centered in her Appalachian childhood home.
Tiffany had just released her first EP when we first starting talking about dates. Since then, her second EP made an appearance on the Americana charts, and she was named a finalist in the Kerrville Folk Festival Grassy Hill New Folk Songwriters' competition (one of 24 finalists out of 600+ entrants).
Tiffany's first full-length record will be released soon. We've gotten a chance to hear it and it's pretty incredible. Tiffany's lyrics conjure up strong images, and her minimalist guitar style leaves lots of room for her pure, angelic singing voice. MCC regulars know we've been excited about hosting Tiffany for a long time, we're glad the time is near when we can finally welcome her to Kent Island.
